The Green Fingers Tour

Monday morning we took this tour which involved visiting four island gardens.

Here are some photographs from the gardens …

Morning Tea ...

... was at the beautiful Emily Bay ...

The Progressive Dinner

On our way to the Progressive Dinner we saw cows grazing by the side of the road. This is common on the island. Owners of cows can pay a yearly fee for them to graze on the roadside.

Our first dinner stop was for appetisers ...

After eating we had a community sing, accompanied by a pianola ...

The main (chicken and veggies) was at Sam and Kristie’s …

... house ...

After the delicious meal Sam answered questions about the Island.

Finally desert was pineaple pie …
