The idea took off, and this morning thirty plus residents broke out their work clothes and gardening gloves to bring David's dream to reality.
Many hands make light work and within an hour we had filled up all our bags with rubbish from the south side of the village. The Hope Way paddock might not yet look a picture, but it is far more attractive than earlier this morning.
We finished with a BBQ in the Community Centre.
Thanks to David for his initiative and organisation with the Council and Village Management, to all the Villagers who participated and to Heather and Suzanne who gave up a Sunday morning to come in and help.
Well done Horney!

Thanks Steve for the Blog and photos. A big THANK YOU to all the wonderful residents who participated in this clean up. I am very proud of you all. In the very near future, when this village is complete and running smoothly, this difficult past 12months will be a distant memory. Good luck and good wishes to everyone! Suzanne
