Craft Exhibition

There are many talented people in our Village and yesterday the skills of some of them were showcased at the Craft Exhibition.

Joan - with her cross stitch tapestries

Veronica - with her quilts

Margaret - with her photo collage, folk art, crochet and bag

Margret - with her quilt ...

... and wall hanging

Mary - with her rabbit

Lorraine - with her bag

Michelle - with her sketch of her daughter

Shirley - with her folk art

Pat adjusting one of his Napoleonic Era military figures ...

... a close up of some of the soldiers

Frank - with his train locos, carriages and buildings

Jan - with her cushions and folk art

Most of the items were for display only, but some were available for purchase.

Thelma makes a purchase in the Craft Shop.

If you missed the display yesterday, you will be able to see these and other items on the Village Open Day on 12th September.

The skills of making most of the items in the display are taught in classes in the Village.
