Recently the following post card arrived at Villa 59.

If you have difficulties reading Glenda's writing on the screen here is what she wrote:
Dear Bruce and Janene,
Many thanks for forwarding our mail on to Longreach for us. It was safely received. Seems to take a week and a day in the outback.
Are still having a great time despite a puncture and chipped windscreen. We are on our third night of bush camping after leaving Ilfracombe.
We visited all of the machinery and buildings shown on the post card. "Wellshot" used to be the biggest sheep property in all of Queensland but has since been divided into 11 - 12 properties.
Hope all is well at Tarneit Skies,
Glenda, David and Frankie.

Another post card has just arrived, from Rockhampton:

Here is the message:
... David, Frankie and I are all well and enjoyinhg the lovely Queensland weather. We did take a trip on the Co and Co coach and sat on top of the buck seat, above the healer.
We've done quite a bit of bush camping since leaving Longreach and spent a week free camping at Backford Weir, Blackwater.
Saw our first traffic lights and heavy traffic since leaving Mewlbourne, when we arrived in Rockhampton - Yappoon, to catch up with sone yachty friends,
bye Glenda, David and Frankie.
