On Wednesday evening the village ragers assembled in the Community Centre for Dace Club.
Suzanne had organised a local dance instructor to attend and teach us some dances.
We learned, the Nutbush, the Bus Stop and two line dances, which involved learning the Charleston step and vines.

Who is that bloke down the back ...

We had a great time, but it would be great if more blokes came for the next evening.
It was not all dancing, we relaxed with a drink after the activity, (with the instructor's husband) ...

Our instructor was:
Shirley Richardson

Biggest Morning Tea
Thursday morning, Laurel Honeycombe, hosted the Biggest Morning Tea for cancer research, in her villa.

Forty-six residents attended, raising $340. Laurel and her helpers put on a wonderful spread, with groups of people to be found all over the villa.

Mystery Trip
Friday morning fifteen residents went on the latest Mystery Trip.
We travelled north, through Toolen Vale to Gisborne, where we stopped for morning tea. Then we drove over Mount Macedon, passed Hanging Rock, and through Woodend to Kyneton, where we had lunch at the bowls club.
After a pleasant lunch some tried their luck in the pokies room ...

... some took in the sights of the town including the Mechanics Hall ...

and others sat in groups enjoying each others' company.
We headed home ...

... a little tired, but having enjoyed a pleasant outing.
