Official Opening of Premier Club

On Friday 25^th March, 2011, the Premier Club, at our Village, was officially opened by the Prime Minister, Julia Gillard.

She was welcomed by the Chariman of the Residents' Association, Pat Hickey and Rosemary Hickey ...


... Jaimee, David and Mary Milne's granddaughter, presented the Prime Minister with a Western Bulldogs blanket (made by Mary) ...



Pat then took Ms Gillard on a tour of the Community Center, which included the mural ...



... the craft room ...



... the billiards room ...


(Naturally, Don easily potted that ball!)

... and Chatter Box Corner ...



Pat then introduced the Prime Minister, to the assembled residents, and welcomed her to our Village ...



Ms Gillard replied, stating how pleased she was to be visiting our Village ...



... and then declared our Premier Club officially opened ...





Ces Sargent presented her with a commemorative Western Bulldogs football ...



Before leaving the Prime Minister spoke with many Village residents ...
