Norfolk Island Trip

Most of our last full day on the island was free. Some of us hired cars and travelled to parts of the island that we had not been able to see during the week. Others went shopping (again) and some relaxed around the resort.

Sam's Fish Fry

Our evening meal was out doors and features some of the sweetest fish you will ever eat.

Islanders are interested in their history, and some have attempted to reconnect with their Tahitian roots. As part of this process some island girls have learned hula dancing, demonstrated their skills to us and tried to do a bit of teaching ...



The eating, socialising and dancing was accompanied by a brilliant sunset ...



Sound and Light Show

Our last activity was the sound and light show at Kingston.

Various aspects of the brutal convict era were shown to us at different locastions around the site. As we drive through the dark town, the bus would occasionally stop, lights would come on ourside the bus and a scene would be unfold out before us ...
